Bonnie Srubas is a 7th gradeSpanish teacher with many interests and passions.
Her first passion is teaching Spanish and the culture that accompanies it. Her love for the language shows in her desire to teach others how to communicate and use it in daily life. She also loves to share the colorful culture that surrounds the language, from the artists from Mexico, to the politics in Venezuela to the festivals that occur in Spain.
Her second passion is traveling. Since studying in Spain in college she went back to live and work there for a year in 2013. Her life in Spain gave her the desire to travel as often as possible. She traveled extensively throughout Spain and visited many countries as well. She looks forward to her next trip, wherever it may be.
Her third passion is technology. She has gotten a taste of using technology in the classroom in past teaching jobs and has seen the benefit it gives to her students. From using a fully online textbook, to using a SMART board and various educational websites, it has enhanced learning in her classroom. She loves to learn more about what's new in the technological world and how she can use it in her classes.
